We are hiring: Restaurant Manager at The Winey Cow in Main Beach

We are The Winey Cow, and we first started our tasty journey back in 2014 opening our first venue on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Fast forward ten years and six awards later, we opened in Main Beach on the Gold Coast spreading our love for brunch to Queenslanders. For a decade, we’ve been serving up inspired brunch dishes designed to satisfy the senses, and particularly your taste buds. Our cozy venues are designed with style and with our customers comfort in mind, making sure every visit feels like walking into your second home. We continue to enjoy growth in our Main Beach venue, and we are getting busier each week with returning customers and fabulous reviews. As a result, we are now looking for a full-time Manager to run the venue day-to-day while working closely with the Owners.

As such we are seeking a Manager to join our team who shares in our values, who is dedicated to excellence and customer service and who wants to make our venue the best it can be. An ambitious hospitality professional, it goes without saying that you will bring relevant experience leading a busy restaurant or café however most important is that you fit with our values and goals. This is a hands-on role, and your success will be determined by the great culture you cultivate and grow with your team, your ability to lead and train people to the best of their ability and your kindness and dedication to our customers and our reputation. 

In addition to our daytime trade seven days a week we also offer catering and functions so you must be available to work weekends and some nights if required for private functions. Most of your work however will be during the day. We don’t believe in split shifts or in burnout and all our leaders work respectable hours with the right tools and resources behind them. We have a dedicated marketing team, a sales team to drive functions and catering bookings, established systems to provide you with targets and budgets to achieve and policies and processes to ensure a smooth induction and transition so you can hit the ground running.

This is a full-time position, not a casual role. A competitive salary package plus bonus is on offer for the right person and career growth is guaranteed for an ambitious individual who wants to grow and learn with us.
